Technical Onboarding Outline

Choose your scenario:

  • Option A: I do not currently host any database environments, and I would like Legal Metrics to set up a server for the Legal Metrics Local Calculator.
  • Option B: I do not currently host any database environments, but I will set up a server for the Legal Metrics Local Calculator.
  • Option C: I am already hosting my own database environments, and I will set up a server for the Legal Metrics Local Calculator.

Technical Onboarding Steps

Option A

  1. Legal Metrics will create the Local Calculator environment on your behalf. We provide you with access credentials and instructions on how to access, should you need to do so.
  2. A connection to your data sources needs to be established (Accounting and/or Human Resources Integrations and/or a local data warehouse connection). Legal Metrics will assist as needed during this onboarding phase.
  3. A ‘Metrics Directory’ schedule will be used to identify to which reports each of your Legal Metrics account logins should have access.
  4. Quality Control of the accessed reports will be performed in cooperation with Legal Metrics staff.
  5. Technical Onboarding sign-off.

Option B

  1. Legal Metrics will provide you with access credentials and Local Calculator table/job setup scripts which should be run on your local database environment.
  2. A connection to your data sources needs to be established (Accounting and/or Human Resources Integrations and/or a local data warehouse connection). Legal Metrics will assist as needed during this onboarding phase.
  3. A ‘Metrics Directory’ schedule will be used to identify to which reports each of your Legal Metrics account logins should have access.
  4. Quality Control of the accessed reports will be performed in cooperation with Legal Metrics staff.
  5. Technical Onboarding sign-off.

Option C
